Where the love of the game gets built. Three rotating stations and an end game, built on ball mastery and 1v1 confidence. Maximum touches, zero standing in lines — every player has a ball, every session.
Technique under pressure and decisions at game speed: back-foot receiving, scanning, combination play — the habits travel coaches look for at tryouts. A new theme each week, a tournament week to finish, and a written player report at the end of the block.
For JV and varsity players who want to arrive at spring sharper. High-tempo work on speed of play, finishing and final-third combinations, with each week's theme set by the last fixture. Led by Parker Cohen or a senior coach.
Pricing, up front: fees for every program — along with any sibling or early-registration discounts and the refund policy — will be announced when registration opens, before anyone pays anything.
Why Polaris
Polaris is led by Parker Cohen — varsity assistant coach at Great Neck North High School, who spent three years coaching in New York City FC's youth programs before starting Polaris on the North Shore.
He started it because local families had exactly two options: a volunteer-run town program, or a travel club charging thousands. Nothing in between had real coaching at a sane price. Now it does.
| Town select, volunteer coaches | $460–600 / yr |
| Premier travel clubs | $1,900–3,800 / yr |
| Polaris, professional coaches | Announced at registration |
Same standard of coaching as the top row's opposite end. A price from the real world. That gap is the entire reason Polaris exists.
From the Coach
I'm an assistant coach with the varsity at Great Neck North, and before that I spent three years coaching in NYCFC's youth programs.
I started Polaris because North Shore families basically had two options — a town program run by volunteers, or a travel club charging $2,000 to $3,800 a year. Neither one was built for the kid in the middle who just wants to be coached properly.
Polaris is. Small groups, working coaches, a written plan every week, and the fee posted right on this page. I'd be glad to coach your player.

How It Works
Join the interest list now. When winter registration opens, interest-list families hear first. Pick your player's program and lock the spot — groups are hard-capped, and when they're full, they're full.
Before Week 1 you'll know the eight weekly themes, who your player's coaches are, what to bring and where to go. No guessing, no chaos on day one.
One session a week for eight weeks — arrival game, technical work, small-sided games. A recap lands in your inbox after every session, and a written player report closes the block.
Good Questions
Winter is a training program — your player keeps their current team and trains with us once a week. In spring 2027, Polaris launches competitive teams, and winter players get the first look at roster spots.
Parker Cohen and trained Polaris coaches — working high school and academy coaches. Sessions run off a written curriculum, never improvised.
The U6–U9 Academy is built exactly for them — small groups, a ball at their feet the whole session, and coaches who know beginners need touches, not lectures.
Pricing and the refund policy will be published in full when registration opens — before you pay anything, not after.
